Logical Net Acquires N.Y. Internet Service Provider

Albany Internet Firm acquires Central New York ISP

Albany, N.Y. – Logical Net Corporation, one of the Northeast’s largest privately held Internet service providers, announced today the acquisition of Digital Marketplace (dmcom.net), an Internet service provider that serves customers in Central New York.

Combining the two companies will provide Digital Marketplace customers enhanced services and robust product offerings enjoyed by Logical Net’s current customers which include:

• Nation wide access
• Enhanced technical support
• Special features through Logical Net’s Premium Dial-Up, which will include pop-up blockers, spam and virus protection, as well as faster connections using Logical Net’s TurboNet.
• The option to upgrade to DSL and broadband Wireless Internet.

Acquisitions are an important component of Logical Net’s growth strategy. Logical Net actively seeks out organizations that fit its investment criteria.
